This year, the 19th Diachronic Generative Syntax Conference will be making (more) history: it will be the first DiGS meeting to take place in Africa.
I am organising this conference and the related workshop with Theresa Biberauer (Cambridge & Stellenbosch), Marie-Louise van Heukelum, Kate Huddlestone, and Marcelyn Oostendorp (Stellenbosch).
The meeting will take place at the Stellenbosch Institute for Advanced Study (STIAS) from 6-8 September 2017 with two workshops on 4 and 5 September.
