I am proud and excited to announce the commencement of my new project The Syntactic Ecology of Kaaps (SEcoKa). This project aims to be the first systematic investigation into the morphosyntax of Kaaps, a variety of Afrikaans spoken on the Cape Peninsula. The project is in its first round of funding from the NRF, and will run from 2019 - 2021. Read more about the project here.
